I tried the non-LiveCD install and it seems that the problem is actually with the CD drive, at least I can’t get past that. It can, however, change the way in which RAID devices are constructed; that is, what they use as on-disk format, how disks are synced between each other, etc.
Current Fedora 19 installation is on an Adaptec and I am trying to temporarily replace it with an Adaptec I can’t find a linux driver for it or a resolution for the problem, other than junking the CD drive and putting something else in which I guess I will do next.
The screen it hangs at says BusyBox v1. Such as for me to modprobe a driver.
